My guest this episode is Phoebe Gander, Phoebe is an abstract artist inspired by the beautiful ocean and mountains near where she lives in New Zealand. After coming across Phoebe on Instagram it wasn’t long before I fell in love with this fun loving artist whos feed is filled with so much richness.

Whether it be a hilarious reel, an education and reflection on living with ADHD or simply a photo of her beautiful art, the way Phoebe tells her story is always hugely engaging. But what I’ve enjoyed most has bee the connection and discussion we’ve had over the subject of having children with ADHD and in the process figuring out that we are both neurodiverse ourselves.

I really enjoyed digging deep into this topic during our conversation.

In this episode Phoebe shares:

  • How she came back to art as an act of self care during a dark time of her life.

  • Educating herself about ADHD after a diagnoses for her child.

  • How a formal diagnosis has helped her change the narrative of her own self talk.

  • How she is leaning into her neurodiversity to create a 100 day challenge and body of works for sale.

  • How she uses her platform as a voice to advocate and educate .

I hope you enjoy the episode.
