70. Discovering A Greater Calling - Artist Interview With Melissa Brennan
In today’s episode Steph and I are chatting with another creative that we have had the pleasure of working with. Melissa Brennan is quite well known in Ballarat as the go-to photographer for women. She’s taken some gorgeous photos for me last year and I also consulted with her business her golden point to create me some branding assets such as a logo and defining my brand colours.
She’s achieved a lot for someone still in her 20’s, so it was just wonderful to sit down with Melissa and discover that there is so much more to this woman than just photography and branding. Melissa also has a huge passion for supporting and uplifting women and we loved talking to her about the deeper motivations behind the work that she does with a camera lens.
I really hope you enjoy this interview with Melissa Brennan, some of the juicy bits include;
How a mental health project blossomed into her full time creative career.
How Melissa recognised that her business has a greater calling than it’s starting point as a photographer.
How identifying a fear of success has propelled her to take more risks and try new things within her business.
How rejecting perfectionism encourages true growth and exploration.
That her full-time employee is her Dad!
I hope you enjoy the episode.
