'Window into Autumn 7' Watercolour and Pressed Leaves on A3 Cotton Paper
‘Window into Autumn 7 ’ is an original mixed-media painting on beautifully heavy (300gsm), fully archival, French cotton paper. It is A3 in size (11.69 x 16.53 inches or 29.7 x 42 cm) and is unframed but will fit many commonly available frames with an A3 mat board.
This unique collection of mixed media works was made in collaboration with nature herself. Each watercolour painting has been lovingly collaged with die-cut 7 year old pressed autumn leaves. Each piece is a unique collaboration with nature that will alter subtly in tone and texture as the artwork ages.
All materials used in the making process are acid free, ensuring that this painting will age slowly and beautifully with time like a fine bottle of wine. But the buyer should be aware that delicacy and changeability of the natural inclusions are an intended feature of this work which will continue to slowly decay. It is recommended that this painting be framed under glass or perspex to ensure protection and longevity of the delicate leaves.
